White Columns at Kingston began as a simple idea; to build a place for people to come together, stay for a few days and enjoy each other's company. We wanted to host groups of people and the concept of a retreat center enabled us to serve a variety of needs while allowing us to keep our grounds open and comfortable.
We remembered weddings where we, as guests, stayed at the same hotel and spent quality time with old friends and relatives. We remembered our own experiences at camp (as children) or company weekend retreats (camp for adults!) where the act of just being together in an overnight setting enhanced the experience and enriched relationships. We remembered the fun we had as kids when the church would pack up the youth group and take the weekend to create mini-camps that would continue the feeling we had from when we spent full weeks together in the summer.
We have five buildings at White Columns that include lodging, dining and conference rooms. This gives you the flexibility to rent only the buildings you need for your event. And while we encourage you to use White Columns as a place to stay overnight, we also host same day events that include Wedding Packages as well as our Conference Building to host corporate meetings and a 150 person capacity dining hall for corporate lunches, elegant dinners and functions. Our staff will help guide you through the process of assembling an event that suits your needs.
